MSM ‘Germalists’ started panic pronouncements about: “All of the world’s ice deposits are melting and everyone in most locales risk being flooded out [Anthropogenesis was, and is, at work”, all were told]. Any claims that Gaia was merely in a natural ‘ebb and flow’ of energy levels, historically recurring, was derided as heretical. To suggest ‘Cosmic’ contributions through solar storms, et al, was, and is, even more blasphemous.

We, in International Business, are amused by many examples of the ‘tu quoque’ ideations. One glaring example is the Financial Community extolling the virtues of fighting global warming, and blaming others, while at the same time establishing data mining operations for crypto-currencies [which use enormous amounts of electricity!]. Are these ‘mining operations’ the best use of electricity when and where ‘brown-outs’ and ‘black-outs’ are feasible? In areas where such hot conditions might not be of concern, why not sell the surplus of electricity to other nations? Touted wind-farms and solar parks could benefit societies greater than ‘financial creations’ even less ‘sturdy’ than “Derivatives” brokers love.

The “Northern Transportation Corridor” [NTC], which has opened up, is a very viable and needed addition for transportation of commodities and goods across the Arctic, from Asia to Europe, and back, we think. The recent unfortunate blockage of the Suez Canal due to inclement weather events, is a valid reason to have more routes around the planet. The fact that Russian experience in such cold environments is spectacular, should lead businessmen to seek shorter transit times so they can have greater profits. The facilities, and ships of Russia will assure safe sailing; “No ‘Pirates’ dare take on the Bear”. Russian Leadership, under steadfast President Putin, makes this entire geography accessible for commercial endeavors also. Investors should consider Arctic and Siberian economic opportunities in this ‘Land of Plenty’, are our opinions. Yet, MSM acolytes apparently have apparently been instructed by PMM’s orders to denigrate Russia for protecting its ‘turf’ with its military might. Since this NTC is extremely valuable, why would the sovereign nation possessing it, not protect it? The Non-Governmental Organizations have been busy in this regard, we have noticed. Again, this is another example for MSM “Germalists” trying to make “Bears” morphed into “Wolves”; genetically, this is not possible. The past few years have ushered in a demand for ores that will make Electronics greater in scope than ever before. Additionally, the pursuit of Electric Vehicles will demand ore mining of Aluminum, Cobalt, Copper, Lithium, Manganese, and other metals in prodigious quantities. To mine these ores, miners need restriction mitigations in many cases. The basic fact of life is: “Mining is cutting in Gaia, and relieving here of mineralizations so they can be processed into items which help Mankind.” As such, Dust, Noise, Odors, Vibrations cannot be totally eliminated in the process. In many cases, reducing those actualities, mean projects are too expensive or otherwise impractical for miners’ profitablities. There is no ‘free lunch’ in any human activity. In Mining, which is the ‘Process Precedent’ to most fabrications, throughout the entire world, one must accommodate the reality; otherwise, there will not be production [like it or not]. This is the way it has been since Man left his cave thousands of years ago. If one wants a clean, clear, absolutely pristine environment, we, in International Business, suggest they go move into a large cavern with running water.

Most mining operations require ‘Outside Capital’ to commence, develop, and prosper. For a investor to risk his money in a project: Proof of valuable mineralization in property must exist or be anticipated; Physical access must be feasible; equipment and personnel must be attainable; and GOVERNMENTAL PERMITS must be attained [this is where the ‘Quicksand’ lies].

Subjectively, we think there are other elements which will bind both nations as to their futures: The British and Indian ‘high’ intellects are of public knowledge; They are tenacious as to thwarting hegemonic nations; Both countries have ‘Leaders’ in Boris Johnson and Narendra Modi who are ‘World Class’. These Gentlemen know ‘There is NO BENEFIT to their citizens, in being a weak nation‘. Conjoined economically, as to future business ventures, along with excellent geographic locations on Earth [Atlantic and Indian Oceans] there is a synergy geo-spatially.

We presume that world events will propel both to examine military cooperation; this, as it regards such International Business activities in which they might engage in the future. From The Smallest Of Mineral Grains, May Nations And People Prosper

In [Sri Lanka] Ceylon, as in all other parts of the world, Minerals of all elements and deposit sizes, may be imperiled by unenforced mining controls. We, who are in International Business in general, and having been involved in various mining activities in many countries specifically, have witnessed wanton waste and environmental destruction. These negatives of which we write, have been performed by local individuals, all the way to Foreign Corporate Interests [FCI’s], from other continents.

Common threads by the FCIs in their practices are: Destroying ‘Miner’s Monuments’; “Over-staking” properties; MINIMAL ‘Royalties Percentages’ to landowners; Non-payments (or tardy submissions) of royalties to landowners, thereafter; No property remediation after mining; Lacking insurance for deaths or injuries to miners working deposits; and no payments for fauna injuries and deaths in mining areas. We have seen it all.

On a smaller business scale, are individuals ‘usurping’ mineralization deposits with their ‘self-interest entrepreneurship’ of taking what they find [no matter who the property belongs (personal, local, state, or federal)]. They do this with no intentions of paying for their bounties through remissions to others and/or tax remunerations to governments.The sad thing which typically occurs, is the logarithmic damages to the environment flora and fauna. However, these individuals could care less.

To Sri Lanka’s, North, in India, it has been widely reported, and some of us have witnessed the the widespread damages that have occurred with “Bandit” ‘river-rocks’ mining activities. Without following prescribed permitting and regulation, substantial damages occur, especially in Spring run-offs in the affected areas.

In South America, rampant illicit [as well as poorly observed legal Gold mining operations] have torn up the land and contaminated ground-waters with Cyanide [used in ‘heap-leaching’]; this chemical contamination is long-lasting to the affected areas. These damages, some of us have observed ‘first-hand’.

In Australia, a recent “Culturally Blasphemous“ incident occurred with both government as well as mining company executives allowing for detonations which destroyed some of the aborigines’ property. Apparently both groups were in need of education as to “Explosives Potentials” as well as “Cultures Respect”. The damage done is permanent; monetary redress is only a partial substitute, we maintain.

It appears very obvious to all of us, in our varied geographic locations that: Government leaders need to understand the financial benefits to their jurisdictions and nation with mining operations; Funding for enforcement activities should be advanced; Miners should realize they must follow the rules of mineral removals; Remediation must occur to the properties following mining activities; Land-owners must be paid a appropriate and fair percentage of that wealth which they are losing by mineral subtractions on their property; Taxes MUST BE PAID for this process to work.

We certainly realize that the “Mining Horn Of Plenty” SIBERIA [with Mineral Riches beyond belief], is avariciously looked at by Foreign Governments and their Intelligence Agencies. One can certainly understand others HUGE interest in this part of Russia. However, as to Moscow’s Wise Leadership, one can assume, understands ‘Wolves bleating as though they are Sheep’. Foreigners, as they have historically had learned, or will learn: “The Strong Bear Protects It Turf With A Ferocity No Sane Man Wants To Endure.”

Reality: There can be NO SOCIETY without “Mining”. It is Man’s incipient activity, which precedes all that endures physically in nations.

Western Canada Residents Get “Steamed Up” About Geothermal Energy, In Sedimentary Deposits

In Saskatchewan, Canada, drillers have hit a deep thermal deposit with waters at a temperature of 127 degrees centigrade [260.6F] at a rate of 100 litres [26.4 gallons] per second. The fact that they were able to horizontally drill at 90 degrees, appears to be a ‘First Time’ for Geo-Thermal mining (at least in Canada). It is anticipated that 3 megawatts of electricity can provide energy for 3,000 homes.

The Canadians drilled down to 3,450 meter [11,318 feet] depth, before turning and driving horizontally for 2,000 meters [6,461 feet]. Since they were drilling through sedimentary deposits, for them, tool wear was lessened [vs. for example, penetrating igneous mineralizations], one would expect.

It appears that western Canada, with its Geo-Thermal deposits, will become ‘ripe’ for well-thought exploration, as has been performed on this small, but very insightful, project. Investors should consider projects submitted by such miners; the projects could become quite profitable.

It should be put into context though, Geo-Thermal Energy is only efficient as temperatures can be maintained over hot-water ‘transport distances’.
