Food For Thought: In Berlin, Necessity Is The Mother Of Invention

Some Berliners have turned their despair into successful action; this, by using their native intellect. They were closed down, of their restaurant activities, by local authorities due to CV-19 concerns. Rather than ‘cry into their beers’, they ideated aggressive tactics for success. These various individuals took their food offerings both to possible customers, in communications, and immediately thereafter, in delivered purchases to their lucky ‘fans’.

Resourceful Germans understand: “When, ‘situations’ get tough, you also get tough; laugh capricious fate in the face, with ‘Survivor’s Confidence'”. One will never develop strong muscles without exercise.

All of these Berliners who took to the road of action, not woeful despair, are to be congratulated. They have acted, as one would expect of ‘Germans’: A synthesis of Intellect combined with Tenacity.

European Union: A Bloc With Some Weak Leaders, Failed Their Citizens

The European Council of Foreign Relations conducted a 11,000 citizens’ poll in France, Germany, Poland, Italy, Portugal, Spain, Bulgaria, Sweden, and Denmark. This was to ascertain their views of their countries’ ‘leaders’ performances as to CV-19; Their effete ‘leaders’ failed.

Beyond the mere typical ‘Bureaucratic Inefficiencies’ inherent in ‘Bloc Management’ designs, one may offer: “Weak ‘leaders’ perform weakly”. In one particular instance, a country ‘leader’ who is a ‘Chemist’ by education and career, performed miserably per the citizens of that country. Imagine, a “Chemist” not being able to fathom the potential severity of a virus! The country has some of the finest Bio-Chemical facilities in the world; The ‘leader’ could question personnel IMMEDIATELY for help. Acting ‘with strength’ would have been nice.

Some of the other countries ‘leaders’, being ‘Attorneys’ by education and career, are hardly guilty of not understanding the nuances of a: “Single-strand, RNA Virus” as is CV-19. The nuances of this virus may be beyond their intellectual grasp.

What ALL of the ‘leaders’ had in common was the governmental capacity to forthwith attack the on-coming problem with: funding, equipment, facilities, medical expertise, and will power; they all failed their citizens miserably [per the E.C.F.R. Poll].

As we have said many times: The number of ‘Strong World Leaders’ can be counted with the fingers on one’s hands; There are “World Leaders”, and there are Nations’ ‘leaders’, of which there are many.

Many people have perished to CV-19. People polled may think they chose the wrong individuals to direct their countries in this virus fight. Perhaps, in many cases, Attorneys who ‘morphed’ into ‘Politicians’, who ‘morphed’ into ‘leaders’ were the wrong choices of the citizenry. However, those citizens who have ‘passed’, do NOT get a chance of another vote; this for replacements of their weak ‘leaders’.

Reality: When selecting your country’s ‘leaders’, think twice before voting for those with ‘politicized’ “sizzle”. You may be making a fatal mistake.

Small, But Powerful Barriers To Viruses Are Developed At Scripps Research In San Diego, California

A somewhat varied approach to fighting viruses has been developed by the researchers, at the prestigious medical entity “Scripps Research”. The methodology is similar to preventing ‘A gang of insidious Martial Artists’ from physically attacking their victims, by ‘others’ mightily holding onto the attackers; therefore, they cannot make significant contacts with their quarry. As such, the attackers’ methodologies are thwarted and they become effete as to being threats to their victims.

Researchers at Scripps discovered significant ‘strong’ antibodies in blood of patients who had the CV-19 Virus. By isolating some of the ‘capable’ antibodies and growing them in cultures, replications have been successful. Animal testing of these ‘products’ appear to show great promise against viruses; For, the viruses are ‘blocked’ and cannot hook themselves into ‘host cells’ [as in the normal course of events].

We can appreciate the advanced ideation that went into seeking such strong antibodies. Utilizing them as barriers to viral entry into cells is excellent. One can reasonably surmise: Increasing the incremental energy needed by the viral cell to thwart the antibody barrier is not going to occur; at least not with the current iteration in this CV-19 Influenza.

Scripps Researchers, who think ‘outside the box’, deserve congratulations for their work. Their labor, ‘one discerned “unique” antibody at a time’, can have global anti-epidemicologic utility for humanity.

Reality: Their is nothing on Earth that man can experience, that eventually, he cannot thoroughly understand.

Mother Nature’s “Lightning”: A Clear And Present Danger

A Texas rancher, unfortunately, found some of his livestock, which has been standing near a fence, dead from a lightning strike. Each year, world-wide it is estimated that domestic, as well as feral animals, are killed in the hundreds of thousands by lightning strikes. The cost to the owners of the herds is prodigious. The reality of the matter is not much has been done to protect livestock in such weather. If one ‘thinks outside the box’ there is no reason insulated transportable small ‘barns’ could not be designed and inexpensively manufactured for herd shelters.

In the areas, such as Arkhangai Province near Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, herders lose thousands of their animals yearly due to horrendous lightning storms, snow and wind. As for humans, we are better off.

Numerically, lightning strikes to humans,and animals, as well damage such as forest fire started from the strikes, are as destructive as many ‘Influenza Pandemics’. As to ‘Flora’ damage, there is no contest.

Having engaged in hard rock mining, many of us are quite familiar with lightning storms causing ignition of blasting caps for dynamite charges. [We are also aware of firearms shots detonating sticks of dynamite; This we have witnessed]. For miners, several thousand feet underground, lightning can kill; as historical evidence in Africa has shown. It behooves executives of mining companies to secure the best of insulation for their miners in remote locales, world-wide.

It is imperative for effectively-insulated building designs to be employed, as the, in-fashion phrase, ‘Climate Change’ [no longer, “Global Warming”] evidences climatic deviance in weather patterns. Bangladesh Finance Minister Sets Priorities To Save Lives And Commerce

As the Finance Minister in Dhaka, Bangladesh smartly defined the capitalization needs of his country’s 164 million residents, we as International Businessmen, collectively applaud him. This Gentleman has demonstrated compassion for mankind and leadership using sound judgement. The fact that he is apparently of the opinion: “Solve the immediate CV-19 problem, we can resolve lesser issues later” demonstrates competence in administration.

Bangladesh has quite a variety of export items: Iron, Steel, Metal Products, Pharmaceuticals, Spices, Tobacco, et al. A government led by a business-friendly administration should surely be examined by investors everywhere. A reputation of a strong Bangladeshi work ethic facilitates such decisions by the prudent.

As the Finance Minister understands, CV-19 which arrived, will soon depart, as influenzas do. CV-19, which will have NOT destroyed Bangladesh, will make it stronger. The fact that the country evidences good leadership, furthers our analysis of Bangladeshis beating CV-19; this country being an obvious location to examine business opportunities.

“Out Of The Box” Thinking May Accelerate Creation Of Viable Vaccines

All too often Medical Professionals are ideologically constrained to ‘follow the road’ as to creating solutions to diseases. They merely regurgitate the dicta of what their professors taught them. If they want research grants, which they all do, they do not ‘push the envelope’ towards creative actions which their grantors might not comprehend. So, they stay conservative, and gain little. A obvious example of that which we are writing about, are ulcers created by bacteria, not anxiety. The Doctors who thought ‘Outside the Box’, hypothesized, tested, examined the results, and knew they were making a break-through in medicine. A physical move to Australia was mandated.

A very recent “Outside the Box” ideation, processing, and examination of positive results has been performed towards the Mosquito, a physically proven pandemic producer. In this case, the young lady decided to study, en masse, the effects of Mosquito Spit, as a combination, rather than a unitary approach. So far, it appears that many of the diseases born by the Mosquito, may possibly be attenuated with a ‘Bulk Vaccine’; further research is duly warranted.

International Investment Bankers Awaken To A 21st Century Tool

‘Teleconferencing’ has been available and widely used for a number of years world-wide. While many businessmen availed themselves the use of such a tool, many International Investment Bankers [I.I.B.s] did not. Apparently, they believed the myths of their predecessors that ‘Eye-To-Eye” contact was necessary to establish a bond of trust with their customers; in fact, many absolutely adhered to this fantasy. An important incentive to this delusion was the fact that five star hotels, limousines, first-class cabins, and other perks were included with each jaunt to a possible customer. With their banks paying for all the costs, and the public picking up a big portion of the expenses, through the banks tax deductions, the I.I.B.’s were happy.

We, in our daily activities have been, over many decades, exposed to such gentlemen, and aware of their mandate. What has escaped us has been that a International Businessman trains continuously in close observations of those with which he or she is in contact. This is especially true as to I.I.B.’s who are offering to control one’s assets. The old adage: “The Eyes Do Not Lie.” is especially applicable to such people. Additionally, much as a “Psychological Stress Evaluator” machine listens and analyzes, so do we. In fact over enough years of practice, this talent is effective even over a mere telephone call. Do not I.I.B.’s understand this?

I.I.B.’s must now stay at home and try to convince customers of the efficiencies and their rewards to possible clients. To seasoned I.I.B.’s, this will not be a problem. To the university-educated novices, who have not been schooled by their professors in such ‘Arts’, this will be a major hurdle. We hope that those I.I.B.’s who wear their arrogance near their cuff-links on their shirts; we have met many, will be humbled by the Internet Technology of Teleconferencing [in trying to close deals]. For those who fail as to the demands of ‘Remote Associations’, they should practice a different profession.

Technology is wonderful, but it is a mere tool which should be used to work for the greatest asset of man [which is located above his eyes and between his ears]. And, at least the I.I.B.’s do not have to sit for hours, inside aircraft with mediocre Environmental Control Systems which do not stop Covid-19 and its many ‘cousins’

Negligent Airlines, Decades Late, Finally Pay The Piper

It is very interesting as we watch the many negligent airline ‘Executives’, who for decades had the opportunities to require airframes to make their Environmental Control Systems [E.C.S.] of the aircraft they wanted to purchase, Influenza resistant; they did not. Instead, they allowed mediocre filtration systems inside aircraft to be installed. Influenza has existed for a very long time and methodologies such as UVC, for example, which destroy the viruses, have been available for decades. Even electric grid systems can assist on this regard. 

Since the late 1960’s, when the E.C.S. systems were being designed for effective filtration, through the use of such technologies, the E.C.S. makers refused to improve their products because: “It would add additional costs to the aircraft” or, “Added weight to an aircraft is bad”, or “It is hard to kill small germs”. These feeble excuses were also stated by the airframes as rationales for non-improvement in E.C.S. efficiencies for the public’s health. The opposite of the aforementioned occurred due to the inept thinking of Airline ‘Executives’ and airframe ‘Executives’,: they stuffed aircraft with more seats, smaller width seats, and narrower ‘pitch’ between the seats. This certainly has the health effect of possible contaminating  more passengers per flight. While it improved the airlines ticket sales and profitability, it endangered their customers. Yet, airline after airline bragged about how many passengers they were ‘stuffing into each ‘bird’; the public ‘be damned’.  

Today, people are not flying because they are beginning to understand how, for DECADES, they had been treated as mere sheep. Health concerns  of passengers were NOT, and presently are NOT, airline ‘Executives’ concerns.  These same ‘Geniuses of Flight’ in airlines and airframes do NOT MENTION E.C.S. systems inefficiencies, because they are aware of legal liabilities due to their negligence. This E.C.S. contamination problem which exists in ALL COMMERCIAL AIRCRAFT, may not be as ludicrous as “Learning to fly a commercial aircraft with an ‘I-Pad'”, but it is much more dangerous to more people, since it effects all of those who fly; both crew and passengers.

We are of the opinion that due to the decades of non-concern for passengers’ physical health and comfort, by both the airframes and airlines, they should NOT be bailed out by monies coming from the governments; Victims should NOT pay their violators. Instead, the ‘Executives’  should: Admit their historic avarice and stupidities; Install virus-stopping systems;  and Return to less cramped seating for the passengers. If some airlines go broke, then ‘survival of the financially fittest’ is being maintained. The inept bunglers certainly did NOT deserve to contaminate their passengers as they have.

Reality: Forget the “Marketing Hype and Smiles”, instead assess sitting in a confined space, for hours, with the ‘horde’.

Expenditures Timing Can Be Vital For A Nation’s Recovery Of Economic Health

All too often, various Nations political leaders are loathe to spend monies towards the well-being of their civilian citizens, but do so with gusto for their militaries and the equipment used by them. For example, Greek leaders purchased submarines, for its financially encumbered country, from Germany, and at least one of the vessels has been described as being dry-docked for several years since acquired. The money spent would certainly help it today as it faces the economic challenges of the insidious virus: CV- 19. Other Nations leaders are just as irresponsible in purchasing hardware for military use, while their citizens can barely acquire food.

The current Covid-19 Pandemic, which a minutiae of non-political International Businessmen, thought had been ideated, and later constructed, then distributed, causing voluminous deaths and hardships, is financially calamitous to many countries. The question of non-political International Businessmen is now, who will show governmental financial leadership and get their country energized again, and which leaders will merely bemoan the situation and not know what to do. America’s President, along with his prudent ‘Ministers’, decided to act decisively and attack both the psychology of ‘Financial Malaise’ as well as its economic destructiveness to the country’s monetary structure. To this, we, as non-political International Businessmen, give them much credit.

Observations are being made as to what other countries’ leaders will immediately do to help their citizens; or will they merely procrastinate about the situation? Their citizens need to determine are their ‘leaders’, ‘Leaders’, or are they ‘Litters’? Only time will tell.

Reality: A true “Leader’ plays his or her hand to the very best of one’s ability, in a steadfast manner, and eventually gains control of the situation.

News Analysis: Seismic Tsunamis Can Be Readily Detected And People Protected; Avalanche Tsunamis, Less So say Seismologists; due primarily to the later’s ‘stealth occurrences’. Many Avalanche Tsunamis commence when degenerated sub-sea mountains begin to have  side collapses. This sets off energy waves in more limited directions on the collapsed side. Since the entire action is of more limited direction, it may not be felt near its epicenter (opposite the energy flow direction – but very near the site).

An ‘Above Sea Mountain Collapse’, hypothetically, could occur in the Azores Islands or Canary Islands, and may be devastating to the Eastern Coast of America. Some Seismologists have claimed a possible height of 300 meters (1,000+/- feet) may be seen if it were to hit New York City.

Seismic Tsunamis have the ‘Human Detection Benefit’ of approaching a 360 Degree Energy Direction (with varying Amplitudes in the waves). Sensors randomly distributed along known undersea Fault Lines may provide rapid detection of pending Earthquakes. Japan is a leader in such detection.

In Lake Tahoe, Nevada, Seismologists know where the Earthquake Fault is located that helped create the Lake (by closing off water flowing out of the Basin from mountain streams). It is estimated that the next Earthquake (which is long overdue)  may produce a Lake Tsunami up to 30 feet in height.

Like water sloshing around in a bath tub, one certainly wants to be “High up a Tall Pine Tree” when it occurs (if in Lake Tahoe; if New York City, on the top floor of a skyscraper).
