Global Warming Appears to be Slowing per Latest Actual Measurements; Not Consistent with Computer Models

News Analysis: Voluminous computer models have “established” that the earth is warming at a hazardous rate formerly unknown to man. This heating has been “proven” to have been caused by Hydrocarbon buildup in the atmosphere. ‘The ice at the Poles would be totally gone in several years’ according to Computer Models conducted by ‘Scientists’ globally.

It appears, from the latest Instrument Measurements, that this heating  may only be impacted in part by man’s industries; But perhaps, more by Natural Earth Processes [NEP’s], occurring from Time Immemorial. Temperature fluctuations, if NEP caused, will  rise, and  decline. Perhaps as evidence of this Earth System is the fact the in Siberia, vast areas had been covered with meadows that presently do not exist. A posteriori, it must had been warmer years ago.

Obviously, man’s industries are having an effect on the environment; But perhaps to a much smaller degree than the Computer Models indicate. If so, people must re-think common assumptions from such equipment; The “Garbage In-Garbage Out” Axiom may be more true than the public realizes.

Precise temperature measurements, in situ, OVER TIME, will bear out the truth of the “Global Warming” Conundrum; with a much higher accuracy than that provided by Computer Modeling.

Russia Produces More Oil Than Anyone Else

News Analysis:  As the world economy improves, the need for oil will increase. The gargantuan deposits of oil in Russia will help attenuate the increased need by increasing supply. Since its people are looking into the Russian Far East for supplies, years of production will be forthcoming.

The very insightful and intrepid leader of Russia, Vladimir Putin, knows what a Mineral and Timber “Horn of Plenty” Russia has in Siberia [beyond oil]. He will lead his people to deliver those resources to markets around the world for good Macro-Business. As a leader , HE DOES NOT VACILLATE, as  weak leaders do. The scope of the Siberian/Far East Project is gargantuan. Only a person of his ability and drive can “Deliver the Goods” to benefit Russia specifically and the World in general.

Mining Investors Put Up-Front Monies for Back-End Rewards

News Analysis:  Since mineral deposits can be accurately assessed, as to both quality and amount, experienced miners can make suitable economic recoveries. To do so, proper capitalization is required. Investors, who understand and accept “Down Stream” payments, can make the monies available upfront for mining projects. The actual ore recovered, being the equity needed for the money, can often exceed projections. Thereby, the total dollars recovered by the willing investors, more than satisfies the risk taken.

Spain Appraised of Potential Tsunami Havoc

News Analysis:  The results of Seismic activity in the Atlantic Ocean,  or to a lessen extent in the Mediterranean Sea, causes concern about resultant Water-Energy Damage to the country. The good news is that Spaniards and their Government can take counter-measures presently, to negate future damage. As a point of reference, beyond the tragedy of the tsunami in Indonesia in 2004, one should consider the American “Hurricane Sandy” debacle which took place. Both New Jersey and New York, as well as United States Government officials, were not prepared for it [even though a probability for it existed, due to global weather changes of which they knew]. Subsequent to the event occurring, and up to the present, there has been an abysmal failure of leadership. For example, U.S. Federal Monies, given to support banks in 2008, some of which could  have been set aside for havocs like “Hurricane Sandy”. The lack of “Rainy Day Funds” at the Federal and State level, has now hurt the very citizens the officials vowed to protect. The affected areas still need billions of promised dollars.

Tsunamis AND severe storms must be considered by the Spanish Government so it moves pro-actively to help its citizens. It should not want to copy the  approach conducted by American Federal and State Leaders.

Namibians Install Innovative Solar System for Brewery

News Analysis:  Efficient Solar Energy, if used in conjunction with advanced Electrical Storage Technologies, will provide manufacturers ‘Around the Clock’ Electricity. The ‘up-front’ Non-Recurring Costs [when amortized over the project life] conjoined with the ‘De Minimis’ Recurring Costs, can save manufacturers a great deal of money over time.

The “Cleanliness” of Solar Energy, along with its projected five-billion-year lifespan energy source, make it very attractive environmentally.

As Solar Cell Technology improves, energy output will increase and  “Cost-to-Produce” elements will abate.

Azerbaijan Increases Natural Gas Storage, Aiding the Earth’s Environment

News Analysis:  Forward thinking by Azerbaijanis, along with proper action by its Government, has brought about large storage reserves for its natural gas. Since “Flaring Off” Natural Gas has a negative effect on the environment, the actions of the Country are worthy of praise. If other Petrochemical-Endowed Countries also increased their storage capacities, or in some cases created them, humans would be better off.

A wise country, like Azerbaijan, does not toss its wealth into the wind.

Indonesia Closer to Achieving Rice Sufficiency

News Analysis: The government, under President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono, took preemptive action towards increasing rice production to thwart the need for its importation. Due to his forward thinking, this goal is very close to being realized. Only when a country’s leaders have the foresight, as is the case in Indonesia,  to remove impediments to crop production, will that occur; procrastination by leaders accomplishes nothing.

$560,000,000.00 a Year Needed by Mongolia for Its Public’s Weather Comfort

News Analysis: The Asian Development Bank’s estimate of the needs of Mongolia’s  3,226,000+/- population reveals a climatic reality which is developing. The Ulaanbaatar Government, with a Gross Domestic Product of $15,000,000,000.00 has the financial ability to deal with any weather problems promptly.

The acquisition of Proven Technologies for extreme cold in construction, such as Mega-Temp™ Insulation, can make new buildings very comfortable. Where the product is applied, a minimum of gas or electrical energy is then used for building heating. Any special  thermal control such as for a ‘hot house’ built therein, to grow vegetables during the winter, thereafter only use very little energy [because the thermal baseline has been raised]. Also, the huge livestock losses of the past few winters could have been greatly reduced if the Mega-Temp Insulation™ had been applied to the insides of the Husbandry Shelters.

Governments must be responsive to the needs of their citizens. Since more severe winters have started to occur and probably will continue for at least several decades [30 Year Cycle] proven technologies such as Mega-Temp™ Insulation should for thermal control. For flooding and other events associated with weather change, other technologies should be sought on the markets of the world.

Splitting Soil Endangers Farmers’ Lives and Production Capacities

News Analysis:  Rifts [Splitting of the soil] occurring to farmers in Yemen are causing them anguish since the ability to farm the areas is diminished as well as possibly dangerous to all. The continued flow of water emanating from seepage in canals can easily get worse. It is possible that a great profusion of water, over time, might create Sinkholes.

The lack of engineering controls by the Yemeni Government, in Sana’a, exacerbates the problem. One would expect the Yemeni Government to being receptive to investors who could provide funding for Agronomists, Geologists, Hydrologists being hired. These specialists could come from world universities as graduate students needing subject matter to work on.

Turning the area into a fertile productive agricultural area, maintained by the hard-working Yemenis, would provide long term profits to said investors.

Citizens of Yemen in general, farmers in particular as well as both the Yemeni Government and graduate students would all benefit from this process.

Profits go to he who leads the followers, not he who follows the leaders.

Investing in Coal Makes Sense for Future “Affordable Energy” Needs of Many Developing Countries

News Analysis: Some politicians around the world demand the installation of Alternative Energy Sources for Developing Countries such as: Geothermal, Solar, or Wind Power. There some shortcomings in the three: Geothermal Energy is geographically limited to certain areas of the globe [thereby somewhat limiting its cost availability to areas farther from the energy source]. The acquisition of power from the second and third are transient [night skies or unpredictable wind availability].

Coal, does not have the previously mentioned ‘shortcomings’ of the three, and has other attributes. The low cost of coal, itself; its world-wide availability; its transportability; and, its ‘power’ efficiency make it ideal for developing countries. The downside is that it needs to be ‘cleaned ‘ before being utilized. The cost of present day technology to ‘scrub the coal’ will diminish through both scientific advances in “Scrub Processing” as well as due to “Recurring Unit Cost” reductions through increased volume sales by equipment manufacturers.

The positive elements of Coal: Low Cost; Availability; Transportability, and Efficiency make it the ideal energy source for countries the do not have “Money to Burn”.

Investors with foresight into the “Cost/Energy Equation” can benefit from investments in both Coal Cleaning Technologies in particular,  and in Coal Resources in general,  around the world. Reality.
