☆ Greek Bond Issue Is Oversubscribed

News Analysis: Greece has a glimmer of light cast on its heavy Government Debt; a scourge due to Gross Mismanagement of the Country’s Economy and Theft by its Various Leaders (Military and Political), many Financial Analysts declare.

As welcome as the new funding will be to the Greeks, they still have to remember the Bonds are still Debt (to be repaid in the future). As Greeks work to get the Government’s Financial House in order, the terrible price they have paid does not appear, as yet, to include redress to those who caused the Debacle. Which Military Leaders and Politicians who have secreted their ill-gotten gains in Switzerland and elsewhere been brought to Justice? Which of the aforementioned Thieves are now housed in Greek Prisons? Δεν ξέρω.

Egos of a Nation’s Leaders can allow for continued Personal Expropriation of Government Monies, as it has occurred in Greece. Many people are of the opinion that until any possible Gains are SIGNIFICANTLY LESS than the Pains, which the Leaders knowingly will receive, the possibility of recurrence is likely. Now, if caught, they will merely move back to America, as before.

Reality.

Citizens are a Nation’s Greatest Abundant Treasure

News Analysis: Citizens Are A Nation’s Greatest Abundant Treasure for it needs their Actions, Energies, and Intelligent Thoughts to Prosper. Wise leaders of Countries, be they Democratic or Monarchical, Understand this simple Maxim; Oppressive Dictatorships do not.

The United Arab Emirates (UAE), being ideally located, has allowed its Leaders to learn, in part, from Centuries of Communication and Trade with other Peoples. They realize that: “Any Gain Must Be Maintained” (for a Nation to Prosper). The Quality of a Country’s Citizens will improve if proper Direction is provided by its Leaders. An Ethos of: Benevolence, Good Education; Honesty; Industriousness; and, Piety starts with the Leaders and ‘Trickles Down’ to the Citizens. Those elements will make for an Enthusiastic and Happy Citizenry; Visitors to the country cannot help but feel the Energy (it is Contagious).

The Wisdom stated by Sheik Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum is Useful to Leaders of Governments Everywhere who wish for the Happiness and Prosperity of their People. Reality.

Splitting Soil Endangers Farmers’ Lives and Production Capacities

News Analysis:  Rifts [Splitting of the soil] occurring to farmers in Yemen are causing them anguish since the ability to farm the areas is diminished as well as possibly dangerous to all. The continued flow of water emanating from seepage in canals can easily get worse. It is possible that a great profusion of water, over time, might create Sinkholes.

The lack of engineering controls by the Yemeni Government, in Sana’a, exacerbates the problem. One would expect the Yemeni Government to being receptive to investors who could provide funding for Agronomists, Geologists, Hydrologists being hired. These specialists could come from world universities as graduate students needing subject matter to work on.

Turning the area into a fertile productive agricultural area, maintained by the hard-working Yemenis, would provide long term profits to said investors.

Citizens of Yemen in general, farmers in particular as well as both the Yemeni Government and graduate students would all benefit from this process.

Profits go to he who leads the followers, not he who follows the leaders.

Iraq Gains Large Scale Benefits in Its Commercial Partnership with China

News Analysis: Having the fifth-largest oil reserves in the world and wanting to increase its production to three million barrels of oil a day puts Iraq in a very nice position in the oil industry. Since fuel hungry nations need oil, Iraq, with its great reserves, can choose to do business with whom it wants. In this case the primary selected country  for commercial partnership is their friend to the north-east: China.

The historical  approach of China in international business is “Bucks Not Bayonets” is  the catalyst for good long-term commercial transactions. Since the Chinese have a wise culture developed through thousands of years of experience, it does not make the aggressive blunders like countries only two-hundred plus years old. Threats and hostile actions buy one NOTHING in the long term. One has to develop the trust of others over time. Adroit leaders of nations understand this, foolish ones do not. Cooperation, not catastrophe, should be the driving force amongst countries.

The close relationship between the Iraqis and the Chinese will benefit both nations well.
