“Law And Order In 2021”: Makes Sense, And For Businessmen, Can Make ‘Cents’

In our International Travels, we had visited many countries around the globe, ‘Pre-Coronavirus CV19’; and we now visit fewer, until the Influenza abates, as Influenzas do.

The main concern we have, as travelling International Businessmen, is not so much our health, as we have a exemplary diet regimen we all follow. No, the matter of our Personal Safety is of paramount importance. If one is accosted, aggressed, assailed, or attacked [take your pick], it can ruin ‘one’s whole day’. Business trips are NOT cheap, and are very time-consuming beforehand; preparation is worth its weight in Gold. To have a miscreant[s] engage in felonious behavior against us, is something we always are on the alert.

As we advise individuals and businesses as to budgets, projects, implementations, products, et al, we always put SAFETY up-front for they to consider. We routinely assess all the countries with whom we visit. If we think a country has leaders who do not ‘get it’, as to Citizens or Visitors’ safeties, we will do ‘an abort’ on recommending that country for commerce. Our strict criteria has been employed by all of us for decades and we have been fairly safe, with a few mishaps over the many years. As prepared as we can be, sometimes “‘Scata’ Happens” and we are trained in response procedures for our viabilities. The broken bones, burns, cuts, and scars some of us have, attest to the environments we were in. However, we are still here today; ably and enthusiastically working!

To those of you who wish to understand the various levels of efficiencies in Nations for their Citizens’ and Visitors’ Safeties look to the superb work: “https://www.gallup.com/analytics/357173/2021-law-order-report.aspx”. Typical of the Gallup Organization is their conciseness and objectivity in obtaining thought assessments of their interviewees. Gallup is a ‘Master’ of this industry, we think.

In Nations with tighter social controls, people feel safer. While Norway for example, a moderate-size country, has top-ranking for Safety, a gargantuan country as China, also excels. Younger Norway does not have 10,000+ years of culture behind it, as does the ‘Dragon’, but it understands “Safety Is Number One”. China’s leaders Wisdom have allowed it to endure and survive for a long time; another 10,000 years, we think, is likely [with ‘Public Safety’ as a key element].

Gallup gives a ’87’ ranking to the United States; we think that this will decline over time. The current, very weak Federal Administration, with its effete Selected President, has too many Puppet Masters telling him how to proceed for all that he does. His allowing American cities to burn this past summer, with next to no law enforcement, nor U.S. Department of Justice prosecutions of the various cities’ terrorists, says a great deal. Apparently their mantra is “‘Justice’, for Just Us”.

The United Arab Emirates at 95% can be easily comprehended by those who reside there or have visited. Security Personnel, are “On the Ball” in assuring ‘Peace and Quiet for All’. The smaller geographic size aids, we think in their mission. The capable Leaders understand the commercial significance of ‘Security’.

Austria, Croatia, Finland, Slovenia, Switzerland, Taiwan, Tajikistan are to also be congratulated. Their efficiencies in Security are well understood.

As for the various countries who received ‘less than the best scores’ we say: “Concentrate on Security if you want your country to financially prosper. No legitimate Corporation nor Investor will engage you, if ‘tyranny’ prevails against your public. Since we are of the opinion: ‘Crime Pays both to the criminal as well as government officials who allow it to occur; clean your house up if you want your country to prosper. Crime keeps occurring because some of you allow it, for your own gains. Wise Up!'”

Again, our ‘kudos’ to the Gallup Organization for a very informative report. To businessmen who want to prosper, we say: Marketing to the public [Products or Projects] is less effective when their consciousness is not on your message, but on their survival.

Those of you who want to invest elsewhere, contact us by E-Mail, FAX, or Telephone and we can appraise you, in a meeting with us in Las Vegas, Nevada. We can save you much money, but also, a lot of time, with our knowledge of the world. Our experiences over the decades have allowed us to look beyond the horizon to what very well could occur to investments elsewhere. We look forward to meeting you in 2022.

Best Regards and Happy Holidays to all!

Reality: Nothing is more important, than one’s very existence.

Air India Learns: Composite Aircraft Advertised “Lightweight” Is ‘Stealthy’; “Fuel Saving” Is ‘Cloaked’

News Analysis: Air India Learns: Composite Aircraft Advertised “Lightweight” Is ‘Stealthy’; “Fuel Saving” Is ‘Cloaked’ since “Manufacturing” may be at odds with “Marketing” where it involves Commercial Airline Manufacturers.

Beyond the varied inherent problems in Carbon/Carbon Composites (as ‘Rain in the Plane’), there is also the problem of strength to highly stressed areas of an aircraft such as the “Wing Box” where it merges into the fuselage. Other areas such as the wing interfaces (hard points) with engine pylon nacelles may require additional support for strength. The list goes on and on.

Where strengthening is required, ‘Doublers’ made of Carbon/Carbon Composite can be fabricated. In many cases, Stainless Steel or Titanium is required for maximum strength. ALL of the ‘Doublers’ add weight; much more than many ‘Marketeers’ will admit to customers.

Fuel burn increases occur, with the added weight of structural enforcements, subsequently added in production. The vaunted: “5%”, “6%”, “10%”, “12%”, or “15%” Fuel Savings, touted by some airframes, is an illusion in many cases.

Since Carbon/Carbon Composite Construction FOR COMMERCIAL AIRCRAFT, is with a very short history, it is likely such aircraft can be expected to be written off in a much SHORTER LIFE SPAN. Metal aircraft have decades of life-span confirmation. They are not subject to deterioration from Solar Ray degradation of the metals (as are the adhesives used in Carbon/Carbon Construction). Furthermore de-lamination of the plies (due to stressing over time) weakens the fabrication significantly.

The Ethiopian Airlines Battery Fire, which was widely disseminated in the press, demonstrates another shortcoming of Composites: Heat. Allegedly, the Airframe rebuilt, in purported secrecy, the area that was damaged. “Why the concealment?” many airlines ask.

Lastly, Composites do not dent; they fracture when hit. Any Landing Gear Failures will demonstrate the “Shattered Egg Shell Principle” as  Composite Aircraft Fuselages hit runways.

From a Manufacturing perspective: If an Airline wants Longevity, Reliability, and Safety (LRS), Metal Constructions cannot be beat; a long History demonstrates this simple fact.

Alleged “Light-Weight” Construction is an also-ran in the ‘LRS’ Evaluation of Airline Aircraft to Purchase.

What materials may be suitable for Warfare Environment “Expendable” Military Aircraft is not necessarily the best for the travelling public in Commercial Airliners.

Reality.

American Railroad Industry Favors Tank Car Safety Improvements

News Analysis:  American Railroad Industry favors Tank Car Safety Improvements partially predicated on two recent Catastrophic Events involving such equipment. Of the 78,000 estimated Tank Cars In-Service throughout America, the majority are liable for possible ignition in an Accident. An estimated $1,000,000,000.00 for their Replacement or Up-grading is required to be spent by Lessors of the Tank Cars to the Railroads.

Investors throughout the World should consider investing in Equipment Trust Certificates for Tank Cars or outright Purchase and Lease to Railroads. These investments  make sense for Railroads world-wide that have Tank Cars. By following America’s Traditional Lead in many areas of Technology, Railroads elsewhere can improve the Safety and Environmental Security of their Equipment.

More adventurous Entrepreneurs may consider buying or establishing Tank Car Manufacturing Facilities since future business is assured by the Ultimate Customers: The Railroads. If these Entrepreneurs take advantage of Proven Insulation Technology they will benefit even more. To wit: New equipment as well as older Up-gradable Tank Cars can benefit with being protected with Mega-Temp™ Insulation. This NON-Foam Spray-On Product could  protect entire Tank Car Surfaces in about Two Hours of Installation Time! Radiant Heat from the Sun does not raise its temperature and Extreme Cold does not affect it. It can be applied In-Doors or Out. Reality.
