News Analysis: High Yields for Investors in German Wind Farm Projects (GWFP)  has been dismal. Inaccurate Wind Projections, Poor Location Choices, Lack of Quality in Equipment used, Poor Equipment Coordination, and Inept Management have produced losses for many ‘GWFP’.

Since a mere 10% miscalculation of Estimated Wind Energy at a site can create a 30% reduction of anticipated Electricity Produced and Energy Sold.

Some people think the German Politicians in the “Rush to Be Green” did not put on their “Thinking Caps”. It behooved them to  extensively analyze the entire data available on Wind Farms  and the Government’s Methodology to promote the same. Apparently, this did not occur. Glaring irregularities on both Cost and Performance which are now well known were not discussed widely.

The “Ostrich Principle” used by many Environmentalists helped push Politicians to achieve their ‘Rush to Be Green’: Ignore the Costs, The Facts, The Probabilities, The Profits, and Rely on the Imagery (Just like a Hologram). 

The Reality that many people choose to ignore is: Coal and Petroleum are both Less Costly, More Efficient, and have Greater Consistent Reproducibility than any of the Fashionable “New Energy Sources” Marketed.

Hydro-Electric Power and Nuclear Energy are both Clean, Efficient and Reliable but have Cost and Other Issues of Geographic Scale that Governments need to examine.

Promoters who have a lot of “Hot Air” sell ‘GWFP’ to the Leichtglaubig very well. Oddly enough, for the Germans (with their renowned Technical Expertise over the Centuries), this appears to be the case regarding ‘GWFP’. A Promoter’s ‘Money-Maker’; a Investor’s Loss.

Visitors Pay Good Money To Get The “Cold Treatment” In Iqaliut, Nunavut Territory, Canada

News Analysis: City Fathers of Iqaliut  have taken Pro-Active steps towards the World Aerospace Community to display their City (of 6,700+/- population) as being well situated for Cold Weather Testing of Aircraft. The immediate relatively flat terrain along the 2.7 km (1.67 mi) runway, an American Air Force Creation of 1942,  adds to the values Airframes consider for such testing. Additionally, ‘Creature Comforts” are well-developed in the City.

In African Tea Farming, Some Countries Have It Dry While Their Neighbors Have It Wet

News Analysis:  Mother Nature may appear to be “Fickle” as to where Rain will occur to benefit Tea Farmers and where She will withhold her Moisture. Presently, Kenya and Uganda are having dry weather while neighbors Malawi and Tanzania are enjoying wet weather.

The lessening of crop yields also affects the quality of the Tea. Presently, $1.90 per kilogram is the Auction Price whereas before it was $2.40 per kilogram.

The Good News for Kenyan and Ugandan Tea Farmers is: “Nothing is Constant but Change”. ‘If it is Dry Today, Tomorrow it may be Wet’ is the Farmer’s Mantra.

The Current trend in the Pacific Ocean today Appears to Be the “El Nino” Phenomena of warmer waters moving towards South America from Asia. If this continues, it will affect Global Weather. If so, perhaps the Tea Farmers of East Africa will all enjoy Mother Nature’s Moisture.

Oymyakon, Siberia: “Warmth” Is A Matter Of Conscious Thought

News Analysis:  -60C (-76F) swimming in the Kuydusun River in Oymyakon, Siberia shows what “Conditioned Mental Resolve” can accomplish in Extreme Environments. The Gentleman swimming in the River has obviously conditioned himself to feel ‘warmth’ in the extreme icy water.

The human body can be trained to tolerate many different ‘Pain Stimuli’ with relative ease. Continued exposure to physical adversities can be overcome much as a ‘Hurdler’ leaps progressively higher barriers over time; Repetitive attempts will eventually lead to success for the Leaper.

If one extrapolates the application of the “Conditioning Principle” to Daily Life he or she might understand the Disservice Parents may do to their Children; this by NOT EXPOSING THEM to the Realities of Life at a young age. Starting young with very minor ‘problems’ to be solved and ‘Stepping it up’ as they mature, the Offspring can become Psychologically Benefited Adults. Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev Will Lead Development Of The Russian Far East (Siberia)

News Analysis: Prime Minister Medvedev has given his “Marching Orders” to Civil Officials through out the Russian Far East (Siberia) to assist the Federal Government in its development plans. Foreign Investors are sought with: Tax Holidays and Land Incentives for those who have Economic Foresight. The Great Mineral and Forest Riches of this Area are untold.

Russia has: Funds for Infrastructure Development; Possible  Access to Habitable Environment Building Technology; A Willing Work Force; Intelligent Employee Pool; Multi-Lingual Citizens; and, National Purpose. A ‘Great Combination’ many people say.

Russia’s Prime Minister Medvedev, working in conjunction with President Putin, will be an unstoppable pair (whose Intrepidness is not questioned by other World Leaders). Both “Say What They Mean; and, Mean What They Say”.

4,000 Australian Sheep Perish On Brief Ship Voyage

News Analysis: “Heat Stress” is allegedly the Cause of Death of 4,000 Australian Sheep which were sent to the Middle East on a ship. The Summer Sun apparently radiated the ship so badly that the deaths occurred over a very short period of time. The ship apparently either had no Insulation or it might have bore “Cosmetic Insulation” of 1930’s Development. The Old Insulation Technologies, like Fiberglass (using ‘Entrapped Air” as the insulator), DO NOT WORK IN EXTREMES OF HEAT NOR COLD. They are ‘Cheap”; as is their Performance.

If the ship in discussion was insulated with “Mega-Temp™ Insulation” one could very reasonably expect an Interior Ship Temperature of approximately 23.8C (75 F) in 40C (104F) Weather because Solar Radiation does NOT effect “Mega-Temp™ Insulation”. Additionally, the light color of this Material would keep the various areas more illuminated with current on-board systems AND Treated Areas of the ship would be much Quieter for the Animals.

The loss of 4,000 Sheep to Heat Prostration is both a Tortuous Manner of Death for the Poor Animals; as well as a Sizable Financial Loss to the Responsible Party(s) involved.

Using the “Active Molecular Insulation, Mega-Temp™” could have saved both the Sheep as well as the Parties involved, financially; Sad.

Drivers Should Never “Be In A Fog” When Driving Automobiles In A Fog

News Analysis: Coastal areas, throughout the World, like Abu Dhabi,  may be subject to increasing levels of fog due to Climate Change, many Weather Experts theorize. If so, it behooves ALL DRIVERS of automobiles to use extra caution and to wisely drive at speeds  less than their restricted visibility allows. The unfortunate fact is that globally, “Fog Accidents” usually consist of many vehicles being involved (not just Two).  

Beyond the requirement of driving slower in the Fog, is also the need for Extreme Attentiveness. All of one’s senses have to be focused on the immediate surroundings of the vehicle.  Automobile side windows should be opened a little so Exterior Sounds of approaching vehicles or motorcycles can be heard. Audio should be turned off (for the same reason). Interior dashboard lights should be dimmed for better outside visibility as well.  Most of all, the Driver and any passengers should remain alert so they are not “In A Fog” when driving in the Fog.

A Tortoise can Safely reach its Destination in the Fog; a Hare might Not.

☆ Southeast Alaska Was Drier And Hotter 7,000 Years Ago Than Today

News Analysis: Charcoal, Clay Pottery, Fish Hooks, Weirs, and Woven Baskets discovered in Southeast Alaska (and Carbon Dated to be 7,000 Years Old) evidence Climate Change. However, in Alaska conditions are more Lush and Wetter now than before. Numerous findings throughout the area have led Archaeologists to ascertain the truth about Climate Change: “It is Multi-Directional: Cold To Hot, and Hot To Cold, Dry To Wet, and Wet To Dry”. The Key to Climate Change is the TIME SPAN over which such Observations and their resultant Conclusions are affirmed or refuted.

America’s ‘Alaska’ and America itself are less than 250 years old. If Alaska was occupied 7,000 year ago, where did the residents  originate? More recent Archaeological Data obtained along the coastline of America is of Chinese Origin. In fact, Chinese writings describe in detail treks across parts of what is now California; this thousands of years ago!

Humanity needs to take  Longer Term Views of what Happens by Man and by Nature on this “Big Blue Marble”.

Wise people realize conclusions about longer term Climate Change and other Events (based on mere ‘Snap Shot’ periods of time) can be very misleading.

Antarctica’s Pine Island Glacier Ice Shelf Melting Is the Lowest Ever Recorded

News Analysis: The Ship and Icebreakers getting lodged in the thick Ice of Antarctica’s Waters and needed to be rescued in the past few days, lead many Scientists to question the validity of “Global Warming Due To Man’s Activities” (GWDTMA). Pine Island Glacier Ice Shelf Melting Is the Lowest Ever Recorded And Less Than Half Of That Recorded In 2010!

Along with the measurable increase in Ice in Antarctica, many suspicion ‘more enigmatic mechanisms” may be working. They think over longer periods of time, other Natural Systems may be at work, producing the Ebb and Flow of Ice in Antarctica. Today, more Measured Ice is  located  in the Arctic Ocean as well (as tested by the U.S. Government). Adding to this puzzle, the “Ozone Hole” in Antarctica’s Sky has also been measurably shrinking.

Some Politicians touted  ‘GWDTMA’ to the Media;  the “Journalism Majors” in the Media heard the “Clarion Call” from those Politicians. Subsequently, the “Race Was On” to find ANY Environmentalists’ Opinions that ‘GWDTMA’ was “Ruining the Earth”. Rather than consider the possibility that Natural Events which created and eliminated Ice Ages on Earth, might also be at work today, they steadfastly decried Man’s Activities.

These same people who are “GWDTMA’ Enthusiasts might willingly accept the “Acupressure of Skyscrapers Causing Earthquakes Theory” without much evidence.   

A Scientist, studying the Earth and/or the Cosmos, who is  “Worth his Salt” will Analyze, Theorize,  Criticize, and then Realize his “Answer” ultimately is “A Strong Possibility”; such is Scientific Refutation.
