The Naivete of Corporate Managements prior to 2008 is astounding. They invested in expansions everywhere. Did they or their Advisers not have the Wisdom to see the impending “Crash”? Apparently not. 

Some Governments went along with Profligate Spending from 2000 to 2008. Were their advisers also asleep?

A Concept to remember is that: “For those who lose monies, there are those who gain those monies”. Who in the media discuss the obvious Inordinate Gains made during that period. The monies went to “Somebodies”. Were the “Somebodies” ‘Non-Believers’ who relied on their own Research and Investments to see the 2008 Debacle approaching (and proceeded accordingly)? They are NOT discussed nor are their Gains.

Since in almost all countries the “AFAB” Acronym (Anything For A Buck) is the Operational Guide for some of their residents, Corruption is rampant. The Mores and Folkways of the Country’s Culture are of little importance compared to the Precepts of “AFAB”. “Beg, Borrow, Cheat, and Steal” become their Operational Guide.

Businessmen in Cabals with Bankers illicitly Connive (Bernie Madoff Convolution); Bankers do the same  with Bankers (LIBOR Scandal); Government Workers collaborate with Defense Contractors (Fighter Aircraft Program); Federal Government Leaders do it with other Countries Heads-of-State (Iraq War).  

The important thing to realize is that Corruption takes at least Two Parties: A Donor and A Recipient. Corruption grows in relation to the Sizes of the Economies in which it exists. For example, one can be of the opinion that the Largest Transaction Currency Amounts will take place where the biggest “Deals” are available. To wit, a $1.26 Trillion+/- Deal with Banks was Signed Off by the U.S. Government within approximately 30 days of a New Regime commencing! Many people think that the paperwork for a “Deal” that Large  would obviously  HAD TO HAVE BEEN WRITTEN BEFORE THE ELECTION OCCURRED. Conveniently there were NO Requirements that the monies be lent to businesses for the hiring of workers. The banks lent the majority of the money back to the U.S. Government and collected the interest! Bankers Collaborating with Government leaders before the Election is thought by many. Corruption? A completely “Legal” transaction (those involved would say). Much of the monies lent are noncollectable (unfortunately for  U.S. Taxpayers).

A very Valuable Anti-Corruption Tool was implemented recently by Russian President Vladimir Putin. In it, Government Employees had to declare ANY Assets they held abroad and cease and desist from keeping them (if they wanted to retain their employment in the Government). This is an Excellent Idea which is needed in America and other “Big Ticket” Countries.

Keep in mind that a Corruption PERCEPTION Index is just that. Connotation is NOT the same as Denotation; they exist one way or the other regarding “Corruption”, in the eyes of the beholders.

The Dollar, some would suggest, can only be de-based by Continued printing of Prodigious Amounts of Currency; with “Little to back it up” Now or in the Future. It’s Manufacturing Base has declined over recent years due, in part, to effects of Treaties signed. Manufacturing/Technology has moved overseas . It now has “Less demand for Goods To Sell in the World. Fewer sales produce less Federal Taxable Revenue for balancing the budget. Why join that “Card Game”?

Rationale behind a Third Argument for the Yuan is that it Trades readily in the Purchase and/or Sale of Goods and/or Services  to/from  the Business Behemoth, China. Dealing in the Yuan as the Mutually Agreed upon Currency in a transaction can mean even larger purchases and sales as a result. Blocks of Yuan Currency in Central Banks (which more Countries are depositing), in the Trading Countries of businesses,  help facilitate this process.

A Psychological Reason, fourth, for the Yuan’s growth may be the Increased Popularity of China’s “Dollar Diplomacy”. The “Bayonet Diplomacy” used by some World Powers is Abhorred by People of the World. Why Trade using a “Bully’s” Currency or the businesses in that Country; Especially when it Spies on ALL Electronic (Currency) Transactions in the World? Perhaps, Countries want to give the “Bully” something, not of its own, to look at: The Yuan. Reality.

The main benefit to those in the Hay Wagon is they would merely Jump Off  of it if there was a fire; Airline Passengers typically do not have that luxury (especially while in flight).
