China To Germany Rail Line Beats: Ships On Speed, Airlines On Cost

News Analysis: The 11,000 Km. (6,835 Mi.) Rail Line from Chongqing, China to Duisburg, Germany allow Railroad Trains to traverse the distance in just 16 days. This is faster than Cargo Ship travel between the two cities and far less expensive than Air Freight for the distance.

Since China To Germany Rail Line Beats: Cargo Ships On Speed, Airlines On Cost; it also adds the element of “Shipping Diversity.” The old concept of “One not putting all of his eggs in one basket” applies here.

The Tri-Partite use of Airlines, Rail Lines, and Cargo Shipping Lines is very wise; especially from a Security Perspective. If one wants to damage or steal Particular Products STEALTHILY  en-route to Germany or vice versa, the Shipping Methodology Problem must first be determined. The Second Problem is Tactical: Three Different Environments (Air, Land, or Sea). The Third Problem is Size: Airplane Dimension increased to Cargo Ship Dimension increased to Railroad Train Dimension. The Fourth Problem is Location: Air (Only Airports); Rail (Only Rail Yards); Sea (Only Harbors).

The Environmental Limitations of the Products such as Fragility – Lithium Ion Batteries?(if any); their Cost; their Size and Weight; and their Chronologic Importance to the Customers will all determine which manner of shipping is chosen. Also, Insurance Rates may be less in shipping by Rail.

Asia and Europe both win in Shipping via this 11,000 Km. (6,835 Mi.) Transportation Conduit.

Reality.

★ Record Number Of Airline Flight Cancellations In Stormy America Suggests High Speed Rail Use Is Needed

News Analysis: Since December 1, 2013 there have been 75,000+ Airline Flight Cancellations in America due to Inclement Weather. The disruption to Millions of Passengers at a Total Economic Cost to America and Americans  in the Billions of Dollars for this continuing Winter Weather. Since many Meteorologists presume that ‘Climate Change’ will make such Icy Weather a Common Event in future Winters, many Technologists are suggesting America adopt High Speed Rail Service Interconnecting the various Metropolises (1+ Million People each) across the Country.

Environmentalists should rejoice at savings of Billions of Gallons of Aviation Fuel a Year (which would pollute the Atmosphere). The U.S. Transportation Security Agency could eliminate thousands of  employees for enormous cost savings to the U.S. Government; Terrorists would not be able to send Trains into a Tall Building (thereby not making the Lessee have to direct the Local Fire Department Head to Implode the Structure).

One could expect to find American Air Frames ‘Morphing’ Themselves into “High Speed Rail Train Manufacturers” (HSRTMs) since they already have Equipment and Personnel Suited for the Tasks.

Investors should want to seek out EARLY ON: Bridge Fabricators, Civil Engineering Firms, ‘HSRTMs’,  “Rail Track” Fabricators, Rail Depot Architectural Firms, Railroads,  and Steel Mills  for Investments therein.

Airlines could re-invent themselves into “High Speed Transportation Companies” by early-on acquisition of those Companies who obtain Government Transportation Licenses to operate such “Speedy Equipment”.

Played Correctly, Everyone Would Benefit: Corporations, Environmentalists, American Public, and the U.S. Government.

Nothing is Constant but Change; Why Fight It?

Reality.
