Perhaps, “String Theory” is currently the most advanced conceptualization of reality being scrutinized by Theoretical Physicists.  It may be that the past years of Incremental Thinking are far too Myopic for a proper understanding of the Universe; much like an Ant attempting to judge the surface of the Earth.
