An excellent report, thorough in its scope, has been created by ‘Horizon Insight and Strategy’; it is called “Recover, (Re)build: Exploring Country Capacity Post-COVID”. This work analyzes 122 countries throughout the world and looks at ‘Resiliency Elements’ for economic success, after this Influenza gets defeated.
Beyond the economic capitalizations of countries being vastly different, other elements come into play after Covid 19. Using technology by a country’s population, such as the Internet can help; having a workforce ‘mind-think’ of adaptation to the new ‘world’ can be of use; upgrading financial systems will be of assistance; having countries’ Leaders that can ACTUALLY lead would be of great benefit; thinking on a ‘macro’ level is beneficial.
We, as International Businessmen, can also add: ‘Intellect’ is fine but it also needs to be reinforced with ‘Intrepidness’. As we have seen in others, over the many decades, when confronted with a ‘Unknown’, many people just ‘cry into their beers’: “Alas, woe are we.” Weakness is a luxury no one can afford. The World belongs to the Aggressive.
Reality: Although it might at times not appear so, there is reasonableness in being resolute: “It is better to wear out, than to rust out.”
