Oral assurances by the Cloud Computing Company are not sufficient; they want the MONEY and will say that which helps them get it.
Internalizing ALL ‘IT’ Activities in One’s Own Company and Trusting yet Verifying everyone therein makes sense for Risk Minimization. If a penetration takes place by a Hacker(s); it may be identified quicker and corrective action taken. Assuredly, they can trust their own VERIFIED Staff better than Cloud Computing ‘Outsiders’ they had not Investigated.
