News Analysis: Bicycle Thievery In Austria Abounds with over 26,000+ Stolen last year. The 8.2 Million Austrians, who ride bicycles, apparently do not pay much attention to the particulars of their ‘mounts’ beyond the color, Police Officials state. In fact only 30% of those who had their bicycles stolen knew the Serial Number of their transportation. 21% of owner do NOT lock their Bicycles.
